The company owner wished to expand his services beyond his location and reach potential customers outside of his network. Cold calling and passing out traditional marketing materials such as brochures and business cards were time consuming and tedious. He needed to establish a web presence that could easily be found in an online search.
The first step was to develop content for the website; the company owner did not have any images or copy necessary for the site. After researching the industry and consulting with Gordon Commercial CEO to get an understanding of his business model, target market and vision, I was able to produce a brand story and write copy that included keywords and phrases relative to his potential client needs. Using the information gained through research and the content developed, I was able to organize the content and create a site map and wireframes to determine the navigation, pages and structure of the layout.
